PLANNING PHASE
Programming: Consult with the Client to establish the functional and aesthetic requirements for the project.
Interior Architectural Selections: Consult with the Client to create interior architectural solutions for the project with specific recommendations for limited wood millwork, cabinetry, hardware, plumbing fixtures, appliances.
Furniture Floor Plans: Prepare preliminary furniture floor plans identifying proposed locations for new furniture.
Estimated Budget: Meet with the Client to determine an initial project budget.
DESIGN PHASE
Interior Design: Design the agreed upon areas with specific recommendations for furniture, wall, floor, window, special ceiling and lighting treatments – including colors and finishes.
Furniture Floor Plan: Prepare a computer based furniture floor plan for new furniture.
Budget: Update and finalize the project budget for Client’s approval.
SPECIFICATIONS PHASE
Final Design Specifications: After the design and budget are approved, Designer will prepare all specifications detailing the requirements for procurement of the selected items. All sales orders will include an itemized quotation including quantities, descriptions, estimated shipping costs, purchase fees, installation costs, etc.
PURCHASING / INSTALLATION PHASE
Purchasing: Upon Client’s approval, Designer agrees to purchase merchandise and/or services for the Client.
Expediting: Designer will advise and consult with the Client concerning progress of merchandise purchased. (Shipping/delivery dates, etc.).
Installation: Designer will consult with the Client to coordinate and supervise the installation of the merchandise.
